PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pad spring for a disk brake on which a coating material with increased adhesive force is coated.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pad spring used in a vehicle disc brake comprises: a pad spring manufacturing step; a pad spring heat treatment step; a pad spring sanding step; and a pad spring coating step. At the pad spring sanding step, a surface of the pad spring is roughly sanded through the use of a sanding device. the sanding device comprises: a storage tank to store a sanding material; a basket to receive a plurality of pad springs; a casing unit; fixing means; an injection unit to inject the sanding material and compressed air; and a supply pipe to supply the sanding material to the injection unit. The supply pipe is configured such that opposite ends of the supply pipe extend through opposite sides of a lower part of the storage tank, an air control valve is provided at one end of the supply pipe, an introduction port, through which the sanding material is introduced, is formed at a middle part of the supply pipe, and the other end of the supply pipe is connected to the injection unit. |
