Provided are an information transmission method, a terminal, and a base station. The terminal in the embodiments of the present application enable the receiving of information sent by a base station at a first carrier according to sub-frame configuration information in such a way that the terminal acquires the sub-frame configuration information about the first carrier, the sub-frame configuration information being used for indicating a sub-frame of the first carrier of a first type and a sub-frame of the first carrier of a second type, wherein the sub-frame of the first type is used for the base station to transmit in a system bandwidth first information comprising a first CRS, the first CRS being used for demodulation, and the sub-frame of the second type not being used for the base station to transmit the CRS used for demodulation.
