<p>The cups are triangular and are joined together at the front of the body by being stitched to a common ring. The upper corner of each cup narrow into a non-elastic strap which passes over a shoulder and is attached e.g. by stitching to a ring positioned between the shoulder blades, whilst the side corners of each cup are provided with elasticated straps which pass under the arms and are also attached to the ring so that the elasticated and non-elasticated straps are arranged in an X formation. The brassiere is put on over the head and has no fastening.</p> |
