Antibacterial, antimycotic medicament - from barley extract as heat-stable oil

A medicament contg. 2-5 wt.% of an unsatd. ketoacid and phenolic substances as active agents for use as antibacterial and antimycotic (candidamycosis, epidermophytia pedum, etc.) is obtd. as water-insoluble oil, soluble in alcohols and vegetable oils from barley extract. The aqs. extract obtd. during 16-48 hrs. at 8-12 degrees is passed through an H+-cation exchanger (pref. sulphated carbon) and eluted with an organic solvent.
