The joint comprises a sleeve (4) and bolts (5) arranged in the sleeve, which form a cradle-type joint. A cradle-type surface (9) is formed in the sleeve, and another cradle-type surface (10) is formed on the bolts. The cradle-type surface of the bolt interacts with the cradle-type surface of the sleeve, such that a rolling movement is allowed between the bolt and sleeve. A convex area (8) is formed in the sleeve in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve. An independent claim is included for a chain with an outer chain link and an inner chain link.
