The present invention relates to a refrigeration cycle and a refrigerator having the same. Provided is the refrigeration cycle comprises: a first capillary tube part to which a refrigerant passing through a condensation part is guided; a gas-liquid separation part separating the refrigerant passing through the first capillary tube part into a liquid refrigerant and a gaseous refrigerant; a first evaporation part to which the liquid refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separation part is guided; a liquid refrigerant removal part to which the gaseous refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separation part is guided; and a first compression part into which the gaseous refrigerant guided from the liquid refrigerant removal part flows, wherein the liquid refrigerant removal part prevents the liquid refrigerant from being fed to the first compression part. According to the present invention, the operation efficiencies of the refrigeration cycle and the refrigerator having the same are improved so that energy can be saved.
