摘要 The present invention relates to a control method of a battery for a vehicle and comprises; a step in which a control unit receives the state information of a battery from a battery sensor unit; a step in which the control unit calculates the state of charge (SOC) from the state information of the battery; a first charging step in which the control unit charges the battery with a constant current charging mode according to the change of the SOC when it is determined that the battery is completely not charged; and a second charging step in which the control unit charges the battery with a constant voltage charging mode when it is determined that the battery is in the overcharge state. According to the present invention, the control method of a battery for a vehicle performs optimum charge and discharge according to the charge state of a battery and a battery structure material and extends the lifespan of the battery and improves driver convenience and vehicle stability.
