AN ENTRANCE STRUCTURE FOR MOTOR ROOM OF A SHIP

The present invention relates to an entrance structure for an electric motor room of a ship comprising: a cargo compressor room installing a cargo compressor; the electric motor room installing an electric motor for driving the cargo compressor; an electric motor room entrance installed at a wall of the electric motor room of which position is higher than a height regulated as a dangerous zone; and a lifting part connected to the electric motor room entrance. The entrance structure for the electric motor room of the ship according to the present invention installs the electric motor room entrance at a safety zone located on an upper part of an upper deck, thereby capable of avoiding a problem of a cargo handling system being in an emergency shut-down state caused by carelessness in crewmen's operating the entrance when they pass through an airtight zone because passing through the airtight zone is not needed when entering the electric motor room; capable of reducing shipbuilding costs because the airtight zone is not needed; and capable of saving maintenance costs of a shipowner or a ship.
