It is often required that additional information is provided to consumers in the way of information leaflets. In this case by the addition of printed, folded information to the inside of packages such as ready meal food sleeves. The patent described relates to a means of die-cutting and folding a leaflet so that it creates both the folded leaflet and the means of attaching it to the package. The leaflet 6a, 6b, 6c includes retention means 6d and 6e to form a retaining sleeve and extraction means to allow easy withdrawal of the leaflet from a package. Thumb cut 7 may be provided and a line of weakness 9 may be provided. The leaflet is accessed via a thumb cut in the package which aligns with a thumb cut 7 in the die-cut leaflet and the leaflet is then withdrawn from its retaining and attaching means in a simple action. An optional feature of the die-cut sheet is a means of providing easy access for the food tray over the end of the attached leaflet. |
