The present invention relates to a method for automatic switching of warming mode in an electrical grill, and is provided to offer an automatic switching of warming mode in an electric grill which automatically switches into a warming mode and maintains a food at a predetermined temperature after a timer is off when cooking the food by automatically or manually switching a step among strong, weak and warming modes until the timer is off. A method for automatically switching a warming mode of a food electric grill when an operation switch for starting cooking is operated by a user and which cooks food on a cooking shelf with selected fired power for a time that a timer operates includes: a step of waiting for on-signal of the timer and operation switch according to whether food exists on the cooking shelf or not; a step of performing heater ignition and cooking with a predetermined fired power by sensing the operation switch and timer input of a user and starting the timer if it is judged that the food exists on the cooking shelf; a step of judging whether there is food on the cooking shelf or not if the predetermined time end of the timer is inputted; and a step of automatically controlling the fired power of the heater with a warming mode.
