The present invention relates to a surge drum and a refrigerating device using the same. The surge drum according to the present invention comprises: a separation chamber to separate gas and liquid; an inlet to supply the mixed gas and liquid to the separation chamber; a gas outlet to discharge gas at the inner upper part of the separation chamber to the outside; a liquid outlet to discharge liquid at the inner upper part of the separation chamber to the outside; and a refrigerating unit formed inside the separation chamber to condense the gas at the inner upper part of the separation chamber into the liquid by refrigerating the gas.
