摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which when the drying temperature is raised in order to shorten aging and drying time, tetrabasic lead sulfate is formed in a positive electrode active material and the battery capacity is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: After lignin or bisphenol, and formaldehyde condensed product of sulfite or amino acid is added into a positive electrode paste for a lead-acid battery, and in an aging and drying process, especially in the drying process, the time required for aging and drying is shortened remarkably by setting the drying temperature to 65&deg;C or more preferably 67&deg;C or more, and 100&deg;C or less preferably 98&deg;C or less, and since the formation of tetrabasic lead sulfate is suppressed which is conventionally formed at such a drying temperature, the lead-acid battery having high capacity is obtained, that is, both the shortening of the aging and drying time and the high capacity of the lead-acid storage battery are made compatible, which are mutually incompatible conventionally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
