The present invention relates to a generator which can be installed in the front of an outdoor unit to generate electricity using heat and winds from the outdoor unit. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a generator capable of making electricity using the heat and winds that are produced when the outdoor unit discharges the heat and winds. The generator for an air conditioner outdoor unit comprises: a wind power generating module (21) which generate electrical power using heat and winds discharged from an outdoor unit; a supporting rod (22) for connecting the wind power generating module and a generator case; a steam power generating module (23) which generates electrical power using heat emitted from the outdoor unit; a steam power generating turbine (23-1) attached inside the steam power generating module to generate electrical power; a generator protecting case (24) for protecting the generator and collecting electrical power generated by the generator; an electrical wire (25) for connecting the generator protecting case with a battery; and a battery connected by the electrical wire and storing delivered electrical power. According to the present invention, it is possible to generate electricity by recycling the heat and winds from the outdoor unit, thus to save the electricity and increase energy efficiency. Additionally, the generator for an air conditioner outdoor unit may improve an outer appearance of the outdoor unit. Moreover, the generator may reduce displeasure of passersby by reducing hot winds from the outdoor unit. |
