PURPOSE: A sulfuric acid manufacturing apparatus is provided to improve the productivity of sulfuric acid by controlling the humidity contained in atmospheric air properly, and to prevent air pollution since sulfur dioxide is not flowed out into atmospheric air. CONSTITUTION: A sulfuric acid manufacturing apparatus comprises a humidity maintaining unit(10), a first control valve(20), a second control valve(30), a blower(40), a heat exchanger(50), a converter(60), an absorption tower(70), and an exhaust gas recirculation unit(80). The humidity maintaining unit maintains atmospheric air flowing into a first suction line(11) to have predetermined humidity. The first control valve is installed at the first suction line, and controls the inhalation flow rate of the atmospheric air. The second control valve is installed at a second suction line(13) in which sintered exhaust gas is flowed, and controls the flow rate of sulfur dioxide contained in the sintered exhaust gas. The blower is installed at a third suction line(15) connected to the first suction line and the second suction line together. The heat exchanger heats up the sulfur dioxide and atmospheric air inhaled to the blower. The converter converts the sulfur dioxide and atmospheric air which are heated by the heat exchanger into sulfuric acid gas. The absorption tower produces sulfuric acid with the supply of sulfuric acid gas. The exhaust gas recirculation unit resupplies the exhaust gas to the blower through the third suction line if the concentration of the sulfur dioxide is over the predetermined value.
