The present invention relates to a navigation device providing an integrated search and a method for providing the integrated search, and more specifically, is to automatically classify and search for random user inputs inputted through a single input area within one screen so that intuitiveness in using the navigation device and convenience in manipulating the navigation device are improved by automatically classifying and searching for a phone number, a lot number for address, a road number for address, and a designation by search selections as the identical manipulations of a user without additional selection processes; is to search for the user inputs after accurately classifying search requests for the lot number for address and the road number for address using a predetermined address classification reference in order to allow a user to derive a desired search result by a simple manipulation even though the user is not used to address classification systems which are used to be mixed recently so that convenience for the user is largely improved; and is to manage at least one hierarchical keyword category including a type of business and an alias, and to search for the user inputs corresponding to keyword search requests regardless of hierarchical level so that accuracy in the search result is largely improved by easily and accurately providing the user with the desired search result even for the various words inputted by the user.
