The present invention relates to functional food for improving intestinal functions, more particularly, functional food for improving intestinal functions which contains concentrate or powder obtained by the followings: separating juice and cake from tomatoes; adding 0.5-2% of 1% pectinase for the weight of the wet tomato cake (containing 8-12% of solid parts); performing a reaction of the mixture at 40-60 for 1-3 hours using enzymes, and centrifuging the reaction result for separating the solid parts and supernatant; and concentrating the supernatant.
