<p>Provided is a machine tool line configured to simplify and reduce the size of the apparatus. The machine tool line includes a plurality of work tables (21), a temporary holder unit (22) for a workpiece (W), and a control unit. The plurality of work tables (21) are individually movable along the direction of conveyance and have a common area (E12) in which a moving range (23) of a work table (21) overlaps with a moving range (23) of an adjacent work table (21). The temporary holder unit (22) is capable of holding the workpiece (W) positioned in the common area (E12). The control unit moves one work table (21) placed with a workpiece (W) thereon to the common area (E12), temporarily holds the workpiece (W) with use of the temporary holder unit (22), executes retreating of the one work table (21) from the common area (E12) and moving the other work table (21) to the common area (E12), places the workpiece (W) onto the other work table (21), and moves it to a second workpiece-processing position (P).</p> |
