Disclosed is a monitoring system for an underwater equipment. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the monitoring system for an underwater equipment comprises: three or more sound wave transmitters for transmitting sound waves; a measuring equipment installed in the underwater equipment of a line configuration to receive sound waves and generating measurement information using one or more the measured values having the reception time of the sound waves; and a central monitoring equipment calculating the position of the measuring equipment using the transmission time of the sound waves, the reception time of the sound waves, the positions of the sound wave transmitters and the speed of sound waves, and analyzing the orientation of the underwater equipment using the calculated position thereof.
