A vaccine service method for providing multimedia is disclosed. A vaccine service method executed in a computing device according to an aspect of the present invention comprises a step of calculating a predicted process time of a process according to requested virus inspection or update; a step of selecting multimedia content including playback time corresponding to the predetermined process time; and a step of reproducing the multimedia content during the process. According to the present invention, the vaccine service method reproduces the multimedia content such as images in the virus inspection or the update to promote the interest of a user until the vaccine process is completed, and the vaccine service method enables the user to control the usage of other programs until the vaccine process is completed.
