<p>A vibratory screen separation apparatus 2 has a separation chamber 4, which moves or vibrates. It may do such by being attached to the screen 16 and vibrating along with the screen drive (14,fig.5). The separation chamber 4 is also provided with at least a partial vacuum, to remove at least some portion of material which exits the screen 16 into the separation chamber 4. Also disclosed is a corresponding method of normal usage of the apparatus. The vibration provided to the separation chamber 4, may push lighter material back from the chamber walls into the centre of the vacuum, and provide for better separation of lighter materials in the separation chamber.</p> |
