The present invention relates to a polishing head which is used in manufacturing a product requiring smooth surface treatment, and comprises: a polishing pad holder including a combining unit which is formed at the central part on one side surface of a disc-shaped flange and is inserted into a polishing pad, a fixating unit which protrudes from the central part on the other side surface of the flange, a bolt hole which is formed at the central part of a free cross section of the fixating unit, and a cut groove which is formed to communicate with the bolt hole; a bolt which is fastened to the bolt hole in order to expand the external diameter of the fixating unit; a rotating group having an adjusting hole which is open from one side cross section to the other side cross section, and a dented groove which has a large internal diameter than the adjusting hole; a bearing which is combined with the dented groove; and a friction force adjusting lever whose one end is combined with the external surface of the rotating group where the dented groove is formed, whose the other end, that is a free end, is combined with a brake pad, and where the brake pad is placed toward the outer circumference of the flange. The fixating unit is inserted into the inner race of the bearing, and adheres to the inner race of the bearing by adjusting the bolt. In addition, the friction force adjusting lever can adjust the rotation speed of the polishing pad holder. |
