METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING MATERIAL PRODUCED BY PROCESSING WORKPIECES

A device for collecting materials from workpieces from machined workpieces includes a fluid nozzle for inducing fluid flow and a collection nozzle. The collection nozzle comprises a start nozzle for accelerating a first part of a fluid flow and an induction suction nozzle for accommodating a second part of the fluid flow. A suction force can be generated near the induction suction nozzle based on the first part of the accelerated fluid flow. A suction force is sufficient to move at least a part of materials away from workpieces. Similar to a system which can include a materials collection device, a related method for collecting materials from workpieces is also disclosed.
