Lactobacillus helveticus HY7801 having anti- rheumatoid arthritis functions, and products containing thereof as effective component

PURPOSE: Lactobacillus helveticus HY7801 which prevent rheumatoid arthritis and a product containing the same are provided to enhance expression of IL-10 which is an anti-inflammatory cytokine, and to reduce expression of IL-12 which is an inflammatory cytokine. CONSTITUTION: Lactobacillus helveticus HY7801(deposit number KCTC 11959BP) prevents rheumatoid arthritis by increasing expression of a Foxp3(Forkhead box p3) transcriptional regulator of regulatory T cells(Tregs). A pharmaceutical composition for preventing rheumatoid arthritis contains the strain as an active ingredient. Fermented milk, functional drink, and health functional food contain the strain as an active ingredient.
