PURPOSE: A remote control system for a fishbowl is provided to allow a user to monitor the fishbowl at a remote location and to operate various functions. CONSTITUTION: A remote control system for a fishbowl includes a network adapter (110), a streaming unit (120), a control unit (130), an image analysis unit (140), a peat moss dropper (150), a heater (160), and an environment optimizing unit (170). The network adapter communicates through a network. The streaming unit transmits photographed images through the network adapter. The image analysis unit extracts static images among the photographed images and analyzes the images. The peat moss dropper drops a certain amount of peat moss. The heater is installed inside a water tub. The environment optimizing unit draws out optimal environment information corresponding to information on fish species.
