<p>PURPOSE: A high-frequency heat treatment method for a weld zone and a plate with a micro-structured weld zone manufactured by the same are provided to improve the strength and ductility of a butt weld zone and prevent cracks in the butt weld zone by micronizing the microstructure of a HAZ(Heat Affected Zone) to10 micron meters or smaller. CONSTITUTION: A high-frequency heat treatment method for a weld zone comprises the steps of: butt welding plates(10) and implementing high-frequency heat treatment of an area including a toe(30) of a butt weld zone(20) of the plates for refining the grains in a heat affect zone on the surface of the butt weld zone and enhancing the strength and toughness of the butt weld zone.</p> |
