A method and an apparatus for driving a plate shaped member operates a plate shaped member to slide in a desired direction, by connecting one wire to each of three points forming a triangle, total three wires, on the bottom of the plate shaped member installed to be able to slide in a certain direction from a central point, and by independently increasing or decreasing the length of each of the three wires (wining or unwinding the wires). According to the present invention, a driving unit of a plate shaped member can be simplified so that the costs of an apparatus and installation thereof can be significantly reduced, and accurate operation is possible by independently operating three wires without causing problems such as backlash. |
