PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure building method in a hollow space of a building having a hollow space in a simple procedure; and to provide a tool used for the method. SOLUTION: Instead of a conventional method of building a structure for building a structure in a hollow space of a building, the following processes are alternately repeated to assemble building materials sequentially from a lower layer to an upper layer and complete the structure: a process in which two steel grounding suspension beams fixed striding over the hollow space, a cargo handling traction rope, and a hoisting mechanism are provided, a structure scheduled to complete is temporarily divided into a plurality of layers in the height direction, and when the height of a building in the course of building exceeds a predetermined height of layers, both ends of at least two steel grounding suspension beams made horizontal striding over the hollow space are fixed to a specific building beam at the predetermined height of the layers; and a process in which the cargo handling traction rope is wound up or wound down by the hoisting mechanism, a hoisting metal tool is taken as a hoisting point, and the building materials of the hoisted structure are assembled to build part corresponding to a predetermined layer of the structure.
