The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for recognizing a finger vein and more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for recognizing a finger vein capable of recognizing the finger vein regardless of the position of a finger contacting with a sensor, and capable of improving accuracy of finger vein recognition by diversifying finger vein information capable of recognizing a user.
