PURPOSE: An optical network system between optical line terminations in a time division multiplexing-passive optical network is provided to reduce optical cable buried costs by connecting a plurality of communication channels through a single optical cable. CONSTITUTION: First and second optical line terminations(100,200) include a bidirectional optical transmitter/receiver forming a CWDM(Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) communication channel. The optical transmitter/receiver forms a communication channel having different wavelengths through a transmission signal and a reception signal. An optic line termination forms 9 maximum communication channels. A first multiplexing/demultiplexing device(300) receives transmission signals, having preset intrinsic transmission wavelengths at each communication channel, from the 9 maximum communication channels of the first optical line termination. The first multiplexing/demultiplexing device multiplexes a plurality of received transmission signals with wavelength division. A second multiplexing/demultiplexing device(400) demultiplexes the multiplexed signals which are transmitted from the first multiplexing/demultiplexing device through a single optical cable. |
