A touch panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display unit for driving the liquid crystal with the voltage difference between a first electrode and a second electrode, generating image voltage to be displayed in response to the activation of a display gate line, and applying the image voltage to the first electrode; and a sensing unit for detecting whether or not of the finger capacitance occurs according to a physical touch on the touch panel, through a change in the voltage of the second electrode, in response to the activation of the sensor gate line.
