The present invention relates to a low head water turbine for generating power using the weight and the pressure of water and specifically, to a water turbine which guides water into a turbine from a low position; applies an action for rotating a rotary shaft using the potential energy of the water according to the weight and the pressure of the water to the blade of a turbine plate at the tip end of a plate mount radially installed on the rotary shaft at a distance from the rotary shaft; and rotates the rotary shaft using the principle of leverage. The present invention is characterized by effectively generating power in small and medium-sized power plants using a universal power generation method in a dam plant. |
