The present invention relates to a DNA aptamer specifically binding to the surface of a living cell of Vibrio parahemolyticus and a use thereof. The DNA aptamer of the present invention has the activity of specifically binding to the surface of a living cell of Vibrio parahemolyticus for detecting the living cell of Vibrio parahemolyticus in samples including livestock products, processed food, dairy products, edible water, cooking utensils, and water sources, and for providing useful information for the diagnosis of food poisoning.
