The present invention relates to a suspension device for a vehicle and a lower spring seat used for the same, which prevents damage to a coil spring by improving the lower spring seat for supporting the coil spring contained in the suspension device. The suspension device for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises a shock absorber installed between a vehicle body and an axle; the coil spring installed outside the shock absorber; and upper and lower spring seats which support the upper and lower parts of the coil spring. The lower spring seat is in touch with the coil spring and maintains the touching state even if the coil spring is maximally extended. The lower spring seat includes an elastic pad to become compressed with the coil spring when the coil spring is compressed.
