DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR ITEMS

A cabinet for handling distributable inventory of items which includes a drawer. The cabinet further includes sets of bins each of which is associated with one drawer. Each set of bins is associated with each such set of shafts. Each bin has a locking element for locking the lid. A set of actuators associated each shaft for rotating to unlock the locking element. The cabinet further includes a drawer access and control system (DACS) for controlling and managing the activation of the set of actuators.
