The invention relates to a document of value, in particular a credit card, identity card or ticket, and to a transfer film for the production of a document of value. The latter has on one of its surfaces a security element (2), which has a magnetic layer (25) for storing machine-readable information and a reflective, non-magnetizable metal layer (23).
