PURPOSE: A strut connecting device using end plates is provided to conveniently connect and separate a strut without damage to the strut. CONSTITUTION: A strut connecting device (100) includes end plates (110), an upper cover (120), a lower cover (130), a bent-portion reinforcing member (140), and a reinforcing plate (150). The end plates are welded to connection end portions of struts (10, 20) respectively and are in face contact when connecting the struts. The upper and lower covers are joined to the upper and lower exterior surfaces of the struts and cover the upper and lower parts of the struts. The upper and lower covers include opening units exposing the end plates. The bent-portion reinforcing member covers bent portions of the upper and lower covers. The reinforcing plate is welded to portions adjoining to both end portions of the openings, thereby reinforcing the strength of a weak portion caused by the openings. |
