The present invention relates to a ground fixating apparatus for a tripod during geodetic surveying, which comprises: an upper support; a surveying device mount which is combined with the upper support; three upper legs which are supported to be folded and unfolded by the upper support; lower legs which are inserted into the upper legs to be able to regulate the length respectively; and a horizontal regulating unit which is installed between the upper legs and the lower legs in order to elevate the lower legs to the upper legs for automatically performing the horizontality of the surveying device mount. During seating on the ground, the tripod mount automatically maintains the horizontality so that the surveying device mount can be automatically maintained in a horizontal state even without performing additional horizontality regulating work after seating the tripod on the tripod mount. Therefore, when mounting a surveying device on the surveying device mount, the surveying device is maintained in the horizontal state in order to rapidly perform the installation of the tripod and surveying work.
