The invention relates to a disk brake having at least one brake disk which is mounted so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis, and having a brake caliper. The brake caliper comprises a retainer (16) which is fixed to the vehicle, a caliper housing (9) and at least one brake lining (20). The retainer arms (17) of the retainer and the caliper housing engage axially around the brake disk, the caliper housing and the brake lining are mounted on the retainer so as to be movable in an axial direction, wherein an axially running guide groove with an outer stop (26) which faces radially away from the brake disk and with an inner stop (27) which faces radially towards the brake disk is provided in the retainer arms, and wherein the brake lining engages with a guide projection, and the caliper housing (9) with at least one guide tooth (25), into the guide groove. Preload means are provided between the caliper housing and the brake lining so as to act in a radial direction in such a way that the guide tooth (25) of the caliper housing bears radially against the outer stop (26) and a radial play S<SUB>i</SUB> is generated with respect to the inner stop (27). |
