A touch screen panel, a touch sensing apparatus having the same, and a driving method thereof to realize a rapid touch response are disclosed. The touch screen panel includes driving lines, sensing lines, first driving routers, second driving routers, and a plurality of sensing routers. The driving line includes a plurality of touch driving units. The sensing line is disposed in parallel with the driving line and includes a plurality of touch sensing units. The first driving router is disposed to be adjacent to the driving line, and transmits a first touch pulse to even-numbered or odd-numbered touch driving units. The second driving router is disposed to be adjacent to the driving line, and transmits a second touch pulse to the rest of touch driving units. The plurality of sensing routers is connected to each of the touch sensing units, and receives sensing signals from the touch sensing units. Thus, the driving lines are divided into the odd-numbered touch driving units and the even-numbered touch driving units such that the different touch pulses are applied, thereby achieving a rapid touch response by reducing the number of the sensing routers connected to the sensing lines adjacent to the driving lines. |
