PURPOSE: An image processing method and an image processing apparatus thereof are provided to automatically measure the predetermined organism value by using an ultrasonic image. CONSTITUTION: A domain acquisition unit (1230) obtains an interest domain for measuring myocardial performance index (MPI) based on an input signal in a heart spectrum image and a signal level of an output signal. The domain acquisition unit obtains a plurality of marker domains in which at least one marker for the MPI measurement exists in the interest domain based on the feature value of the input signal and the output signal.
