PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppression device that suppresses vibrations of a placement table repeatedly generated as mounted equipment etc., moves and so on.SOLUTION: A vibration suppression device 10 includes: a pair of shaft members 28 which are arranged at a predetermined distance in parallel; a bearing 84 which is provided at a foundation part and supports the shaft members rotatably on axes; a leaf spring 22 which is in an arch shape while having its ends fixed to the shaft members 28, and abuts against an object of vibration suppression by varying curvature; an actuator which is stuck on the leaf spring 22 and applies tensile force or compressive force to the leaf spring 22; and displacement allowing means 90 of allowing the shaft members 28 to be displaced in a perpendicular direction and a horizontal direction.
