PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, capable of correcting the motion with high accuracy even in the case of imaging a plurality of slices in an interleaved order.SOLUTION: An embodiment of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus performs dynamic imaging for a subject extending over a plurality of time phases. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: an imaging part for imaging the subject in a plurality of slices in a first sectional direction in an interleaved order; a two-dimensional image generating part for slicing three-dimensional image data in one section in a second sectional direction different from the first sectional direction and containing the plurality of imaged slices, and generating a two-dimensional image for determining the motion in each of the time phases; a motion determining part for determining whether or not the subject moves; and a motion correcting part for correcting the motion when the subject is determined to move by eliminating the three-dimensional image data in the corresponding time phase as invalid data. |
