PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional electronic component that is reducible in the number of components and can have its outward appearance made compact.SOLUTION: A multifunctional electronic component includes a swingable operation member 151, a first flexible circuit board 135 constituted by installing a push switch 147 pressed as the operation member 151 swings, and a second flexible circuit board 131 which is installed on the operation member 151 and varies in electric output through rotation of a rotary knob 80. The first and second flexible circuit boards 135, 131 are connected by a board connection part 149. The operation member 151 is connected to an enclosure part 153 by an enclosure part connection part 171. The part of the board connection part 149 is run through a board insertion part 177 formed between the operation member 151 and enclosure part 153 to arrange the first and second flexible circuit boards 135, 131 on upper and lower surface sides of the operation member 151 respectively. The operation member 151 on both end sides of the substrate insertion part 177 is provided with a board outer peripheral side insertion recessed part 179 into which an outer peripheral side of the second flexible circuit board 131 is inserted. |
