A system and a method for providing location information while progressing IMS(Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) call for calculating the location value in a commercial case are provided to confirm a transmitting terminal about the location of the transmitting terminal. A UE(User Equipment)(109) delivers an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) INVITE message to E- CSCF(Emergency-Call Session Control Function)(107). An E-CSCF determines whether the location value calculation of UE is requested to the SIP INVITE message. If the E- CSCF determines that the location value is requested from UE, the place value of UE is delivered to a PSAP with the IMS call. If the LRF(Location Routing Function)(105) receives this require-message, the LRF transmits MLP(Mobile Location Protocol) ELIR message including ID OF E-CSCF. |
