PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of a used catalyst by preventing catalyst particles from being buried in a gas diffusion layer to increase a utilization rate of the catalyst particles used in a catalyst layer.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a fuel cell electrode, a step of coating an electrolyte resin solution on one surface of a porous base material serving as a gas diffusion layer, drying the coated electrolyte resin solution, and forming a catalyst trapping layer comprising an electrolyte resin membrane is performed, then a step of forming a catalyst layer on the catalyst trapping layer is performed. |
