PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic glow plug with a combustion pressure detection sensor in which a heater is composed of a ceramic substrate and a metal pipe press-fitted to and fitted around the ceramic substrate and a seal member arranged in an annular space between an inner peripheral surface at a tip end of a housing and an outer peripheral surface of the heater is welded to the pipe without inhibiting deformation of the seal member, in order to prevent a combustion gas from intruding into a deeper area by passing through a space between an inner circumferential surface of the pipe and an outer circumferential surface of the ceramic substrate.SOLUTION: A different-diameter pipe 20 having an annular thick wall part 24 having a thick wall in a portion located in an annular space K2 is used in a part of a pipe in a longitudinal direction. A seal member 60 is welded to an outer peripheral surface of a thin wall pipe part 21 having a thin wall in a tip end side of the annular thick wall part 24. A ceramic substrate 11 is fastened strongly owing to an arrangement of the annular thick wall part 24 and therefore airtightness is enhanced. Deformation of the seal member is not inhibited because the seal member is welded to the thin wall pipe part 21. |
