PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress dragging of a brake while suppressing sliding down of a vehicle in the case where an engine is stalled when the vehicle is started on a slope.SOLUTION: When a vehicle is stopped on a slope, a standby position of a propeller shaft 18 comes to a lock position other than a release position, that is, a first or second standby position at which a brake pad 11 can be pressed against a brake disk 12 for a shorter period of time. Accordingly, when an engine is stalled, a parking braking force can be generated more shortly, and sliding down of the vehicle can be suppressed. Further, whether an engine stall lock not-needed confirmed state is established is decided. If the engine stall lock not-needed confirmed state is established, standby state release control is promptly implemented in order to shift the propeller shaft 18 from the first or second standby position to a standby position at a normal release time. Eventually, dragging of a brake occurring when the vehicle is started can be suppressed, and strange noise or vibrations due to the dragging of the brake or overheating of the brake can be suppressed. |
