PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter in which sealability can be ensured sufficiently between a semiconductor module and a housing for cooling.SOLUTION: A power converter 1 includes a semiconductor module 3 consisting of a body 4 and a body housing section 5, and a housing 2 for cooling which has a module housing section 21 and forms a coolant passage 20 between the semiconductor module 3 and itself. The body housing section 5 consists of a cylindrical section 51 of bottomed cylindrical shape having an aperture 511 at one end, and being housed in a module housing section 21 while housing the body 4 internally, and a flange 52 projecting outward from the cylindrical section 51. The flange 52 is provided with a facing seal surface 521 facing the housing 2 for cooling and sealing between the housing 2 for cooling and itself. The facing seal surface 521 is provided with a concave deformation prevention part 522. The flange 52 and the housing 2 for cooling are sealed on the outside of the deformation prevention part 522 in the facing seal surface 521. |
