PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module which suppresses optical coupling between a reflecting return light and a light emitting element, is convenient, and is excellent in optical performance.SOLUTION: An optical module 10 comprises a light emitting element 11 for emitting light and a window lens 2 which light transmits, and emits light that has transmitted the window lens 2 outside. The window lens 2 is provided on its surface with a first lens surface 2a and on its back surface with a second lens surface 2b. In the optical module 10, optical axes of the light emitting element 11 and of the window lens 2 coincide, the first lens surface 2a is provided facing the light emitting element 11, and one of the first lens surface 2a and the second lens surface 2b is a projection surface, and the other is a recessed surface. |
