PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact organic EL device capable of improving light-emission characteristics, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the organic EL device and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An organic EL device includes: a pixel electrode 24 provided on a substrate; a common electrode 25 arranged opposite to the pixel electrode 24; a functional layer arranged between the pixel electrode 24 and the common electrode 25 and capable of obtaining white light-emission; an intermediate layer 46 laminated on the common electrode 25; and an interference filter 50 laminated on the intermediate layer 46. The interference filter 50 includes: a pair of dielectric mirror layers 51, 52; and a translucent spacer layer 53 held between the pair of the dielectric mirror layers 51, 52.
